Software Developer

Sumea is looking for a full-time Software Developer for its Technology Team. Primary responsibilities in this position are:

Development of Sumea’s mobile game development framework
Assisting game developers in integration of online and multiplayer elements to games.

The successful candidate will have completed, or is close to the completion of, at least a Bachelor’s level degree in computer science or related subject. Work experience in software development, databases and web technologies is required.

Personal qualities and skills that are important in the position include:

Skill and experience in software engineering with Java, especially J2ME
Knowledge of network communications, backend systems, web and mobile services.
All experience with mobile software development or game industry is considered an advantage.
Outspoken individual possessing good communication skills, especially in English and Finnish.
Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in rapidly evolving technology and business environment
A lot of interest and also some knowledge of games and games industry
